Come Worship With Us This Sunday!

We would love for you to join us for worship this Sunday.  Here are a few things that can help you plan your visit.

Mount Pleasant Baptist Church

What are the service times?

Choose from our two (2) service times:

  •   8:30 am
  • 10:30 am

Praise Kids Service time:

  • 10:30 am

How do I get there?

We are located at 2516 Squirrel Hill Road, Herndon, VA 20171. Click here for Directions.

What do I do when I arrive?

When you arrive, members of our Parking Ministry will be available to assist you in parking as close to the church as possible. The earlier you arrive, the closer you will be able to park near the church.

You will enter the church through the main doors and our Greeters will welcome you with a smile and guide you to the sanctuary. The sanctuary doors are tended by an Usher and you may sit wherever you like. However, if you need assistance finding a seat or have special seating needs, the Usher would be glad to assist you.

What happens during a worship service?

The order of our services are subject to change by the leading of the Holy Spirit. However, the theme for each week's service is as follows:

1st Sunday - Standard Services
2nd Sunday - Youth Sunday (come as you are)
3rd Sunday - Standard Services
4th Sunday - Holy Communion
5th Sunday - Missionary Sunday

Are visitors recognized?

If you are a visitor or new to Mount Pleasant, you will be asked to stand so that you can be acknowledged and welcomed by the congregation. While you are standing, an Usher will present you with a visitors card. Please fill it out and return it to our bookstore. You will also receive a gift as a token of our appreciation.

Where do I find additional information?

You can find brochures, fliers, and other information about our various ministries in the vestibule.  Also, you can review and print the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Weekly Information Guide before you arrive.  The guide provides the sermon topic, information about the services, events, meetings and other church related activities.
